It may sound like Zoonia is a nearly perfect place. It is. The way people do things in Zoonia is an inspiration for entertainers such as Zoony Balloons, a visitor here from Zoonia. The smile’s the key in Zoonia, and what’s not to smile about? Rubber duckies, rubber chickens, and for breakfast, rubber biscuits. The breakfast table is always a lively, laughing place in Zoonia! Indeed, breakfast may be the most popular meal in Zoonia. That is the power of a fun breakfast food such as rubber biscuits and gravy.
Parties, naturally, are a key part of life in Zoonia. Indeed, nearly every month there is some kind of rubber ball taking place. The Red Rubber Ball, the Blue Rubber Ball, and the Yellow Rubber Ball are all popular themes. (Though for some reason, pink is the preferred color for the Yellow Rubber Ball. Go figure.) At these events, the rubber band plays and plays while people dance the day and night away! Parties usually start at noon, and run through the night. This gives everyone a chance to wear at least 2 different sets of party clothes. (I told you, people love their parties in Zoonia!)
At every one of the Rubber Balls there will be a balloon entertainer, along with a balloon artist. The balloon artist is there as an artisan, inflating balloons, and turning them into all kinds of different things (some of them marginally useful, such as the bow and arrow.) The balloon entertainer, though, that person has the guests giggling and laughing and just aching for their turn with the entertainer. It’s not just the balloons, you see. It is also the atmosphere created. Balloons are not highly valued – laughter and happy memories, on the other hand, are treasured. And of course, this is one of the keys to birthday parties in Zoonia, which we’ll learn about in a later post.
Are you planning a Maryland birthday party? Then you might like a balloon entertainer for some one-on-one entertainment for your guests! This is especially successful when you have other activities, such as a pool party, a bounce house, or pony rides!

Like most countries, Zoonia has holidays. There is the Planting Day, when new rubber trees are planted. There is Harvest Day (which actually comes several times during the year) when a particular color of balloon is harvested. It is not widely know that balloons on the rubber trees change color as they grow. Yes, it’s true! Balloons first grow to their full size, starting out clear as rainwater. When picked at this time, you get a clear balloon. As the balloon ages on the rubber tree, the color goes gradually darker, from a faint yellow to a deep, rich, opaque brown. The final stage gives balloons that are black. If left, these will fall off the rubber trees, in the month of October. This is probably why Halloween is such a prominent holiday in Zoonia. The last of the balloons are given, as a gift, and no one has to climb the rubber trees to pick them. Sweet! In Zoonia, there are lots of Halloween parties, and lots of Halloween entertainment.
Other places can join in the Halloween fun, too. If you want Texas Halloween entertainment, you ought to check out Funny Business. This is an entertainment company which transforms your guests with Halloween face paint, and scarecrow clown characters who deliver a wonderful seasonal entertainment. While it would be a long way to travel, even people in Zoonia would love to have Patchy at Halloween!
Another season celebrated in Zoonia is Valentine’s Day. Love, candy, and arrows through the heart – these elements don’t seem initially connected, do they? Citizens of Zoonia don’t ask their holidays to add up, they simply use the time as a chance to celebrate their love. Since it is Zoonia, balloons play a role in Valentine’s Day celebrations, where lover’s use balloons to tell one another how much they love one another. It’s a balloon filled love fest, with hearts, teddy bears, and more presented on Feb. 14.
Easter is not such a big holiday for Zoonia. Sure, there are Easter bunny balloons that make an appearance. There is Easter day egg hunting, too, however the holiday has never really caught on in Zoonia. Other areas do much better with Easter. For example, the Texas Easter party is often celebrated with a big head bunny costume. Texas is also home to the clown Easter bunny, who uses an open face approach to the rabbit motif. They add ears to their hats, paint whiskers on their face, and can be identified as a person trying to look like a rabbit. This often prevents the tearful reaction children have to a full costume character.

You’ve looked at some of the balloon art and balloon artists available. How do you use this knowledge? Well, for a Maryland birthday party, you can bring in a balloon artist to make items for guests. There are some good Maryland balloon artists who will engage your guests, and delight with their balloon skills. Your guests will run around with their balloon creation, introducing it, telling people what it can do, what super powers it possesses, or the family history of their item. Or they may just smile, giggle, and think ‘this party is great!’ Note that we are talking about CHILDREN here, not adults.
Adults are a different story. Adults won’t necessarily attack each other with ballon swords (or even ask for them) however, adults will admire the artistry of a good balloon artist. They’ll comment on the intricate detail of a cow sculpture with an udder, or the way an airplane has a space for the pilot. They’ll usually choose pretty things – butterflies and lady bugs – as wrist designs, or a hat which proclaims their status.
Adults are also a great recipient for balloon sculptures that are artworks they can display at home, or in the office. Designs like a clown in a car, a Caterpillar tractor, or a tropical lagoon, are sculptured art works made for adults. At a party, these pieces will contribute to the festive atmosphere present. At the same time, they are a gift for the adult celebrating their birthday, as well as a gift of visual fun, for the other guests. When you are planning a grown up birthday, find a balloon artist who can make detailed, elaborate sculptures for your decor!
